Welcome to the start of our course. This course will take you on a fascinating exploration of teaching English language to lower secondary school students in the specific context of Vietnam. In the course, principles of teaching language elements and language skills and suggested classroom procedures and activities are closely linked with the instructions of the General Education Curriculum 2018 – English subject. You will be offered opportunities to review techniques for English teaching, and to reflect on the choice of materials and activities for your classroom. On finishing the course, you will have been able to make informed decisions and fine-tune the principles that exactly fit your teaching situation and enable the realization of the General Education Curriculum 2018 – English subject.
